New Cafe menu at Michel's Patisserie
What’s better than spending a leisurely Sunday morning at a patisserie enjoying sweet indulgence and a good cup of coffee? Well, as it turned out, there is a better way… now at Michel’s Patisserie & Cafe, you can have a nice meal and then devour those deliciously looking cakes, slices and tarts to your heart’s content.
The new menu launched at Michel’s Patisserie & Cafe boasts wonderful breakfast options from something as simple as crepes with Nutella, banana and strawberries ($8.90) and signature muesli bowl ($8.90) - toasted muesli with poached berries, Greek yoghurt and pumpkin seeds, served with a side of milk, to more wholesome options like the Big Breakfast ($13.50) - eggs cooked to your liking, bacon, tomato, mushroom and hash browns served on toasted sourdough bread. If you are tempted by the breakfast options, wait till you find out what they have on offer for lunch; everything from gourmet burgers, open melts, to chicken parmigiana ($15.50) and salt & pepper calamari ($16.90). There is even a lunch menu designed for the little ones, and might I just add the babyccinos here are extremely creamy and frothy.
We enjoyed a delightful lunch recently at the newly opened Michel’s Patisserie & Cafe in Cornubia, where the decor is fresh and the space is open and airy extending out to a sun bathed al fresco dining area. The service is what you would expect from any good cafĂ©; friendly and prompt.
PS. you don’t want to miss out on the Salted Caramel frappe ($6.90 for a regular size), it’s like happiness in a glass.
Disclaimer: with thanks to Michel’s Patisserie & Cafe for welcoming DolceBunnie to the property as an invited guest, please note that my opinion is as always, my own.
