Marinara Cafe & Restaurant | 34 Latrobe Tce, PADDINGTON QLD 4064
It
was one of those days; the sun was out, the sky was exceptionally
clear with a soft blue hue and I was in the mood to go antique
shopping in Paddington.
I
am a true nostalgia sort of gal. I'd rather spend the day wandering
amongst old suitcases, tea cups and saucers from decades ago and even
searching for an old-fashioned piece that has been forgotten by the
world than going out clubbing into the wee hours of the morning.
To
set the mood properly, the other travel bunnie took me to Marinara
Cafe & Restaurant in Paddington. Set in a cute brick house on
Latrobe Terrace and occupied by tables that are covered with red and
white checkered tablecloths, Marinara is like the hearty trattoria
that you can trust to get a good meal out of time and time and time
again.
We
made a reservation in the morning to secure table on the balcony
overlooking busy Latrobe Terrance and soak up some sunshine. As
expected, t was a good spot for people watching.
Breakfast
was exactly the way it was meant to be. Simple and delicious. I was
surprised at the great value that's offered by this cafe. My bacon
and egg and cheese oven baked croissant was just under $11 and it
was so tasty! The other travel bunnie had the bacon and egg breakfast
wrap which was also a winner and the onion jam was more than just
mouthwatering.
What
an adorable place to visit!
Total
Bunnie Dollars Spent: $38.
