Where were the bunnies?
As
the bunnies always have two international holidays planned, we
actually arranged flights and accommodation in the States almost one
year in advance. So you can imagine how excited I was when the
departure date finally arrived.
Our
Qantas flight left on a sunny Saturday afternoon from Brisbane,
which means that we arrived in Los Angeles early in the morning on
the same date. From there, we went to Anaheim, Las Vegas, San
Francisco, New York, Miami for a one week cruise around the
Caribbean, back to Miami for a relaxing day around South Beach, and
finally, New York for a much anticipated New Year's Eve.
During
the trip we took two bus rides, one cruise, one helicopter ride, five
domestic flights and two international flights (plus various other
transportation).
It
was one of the biggest trips we've ever taken in the past three years
and it was certainly a memorable one.
