When
Miel Container – Premium Homemade Burger just opened, we went there
for dinner one night after work. It was so disappointing that I never
even bothered to blog about it.
Last
Sunday night, we decided to give it another go.
The
burger joint itself is pretty unique. Set in a red container with a
few small tables and chairs, Miel lets you design your own burger.
However if you're not that creative, or perhaps like myself, you tend
to get overwhelmed with making decisions when it comes to food, then
there are a number of pre-designed burgers on offer.
On
our recent visit, we decided to try their Korean BBQ
bulgogi burger ($12) and miso
smoked pork belly burger ($12.50).
Both burgers were served on a brioche bun with a side of beer
battered fries. I luuuurrrved the bulgogi burger. The thinly sliced
meat was so well marinated with a hint of sweetness and when topped
with melted cheese, the burger tasted heavenly! The pork belly burger
wasn't too bad either.
We've
always been loyal customers at Grill'd, but it seems like we have
found our new favourite burger joint.
