Esquire, 145 Eagle Street, BRISBANE QLD 4000

The bunnies are engaged!

The proposal took me by surprise and it was a rather romantic affair. At some stage, I will write a post dedicated to our engagement, but for now, it's Esquire.

The other travel bunnie booked Esquire for dinner and I couldn't think of anywhere better in Brisbane to celebrate our engagement.

The restaurant offered the perfect view of the Story Bridge, but it was the food that makes this place a three chef-hatted restaurant.

The service was superb and we were tempted to try every single dish on the menu, so we opted for the long degustation dining option.

I don't know what else to say other than the fact that it was the most amazing culinary experience that I've ever had. It was so difficult for me to pick a favourite as each dish offered a unique texture and flavour. As I have a super sweet-tooth, I would have to say the “popcorn” was the crème de la crème of all desserts I've had, a little brave comment right there, but true. To be fair, the kim chi, air dried beef and kettle chips were equally amusing.

As you have probably gathered by now, I absolutely luuurrrrved our celebration dinner at Esquire. It's the perfect venue for any special occasion and definitely good value for a fine dining degustation meal.

Total Bunnie Dollars Spent: $268.
