Venice. When you think of this city, you think of its beautiful Grand Canal and the quintessential Venetian experience of enjoying the wonderful cuisine of the Veneto by the canal lights…

To re-live that mesmerizing trip to Venice, we went to Venice, Brisbane. The restaurant has got an amazing view of the Brisbane river and its exotic décor is so romantic. Other than that, when compared to other fine dining restaurants, Venice Restaurant was a let down.  

The hot chocolate was served lukewarm at the top and cold down the bottom and as for their signature Venetian Affair ($30.00), it certainly was not an affair to be remembered.

I haven’t been back to the Venice Restaurant since, although at times I am tempted to try more of their food but I remind myself that sometimes, money is worth spending elsewhere…

    Thank you for your feedback. I have taken note of your comments on the Hot chocolates and this has been rectified. Could you let me know when you visited us as the picture of the Venetian Affair is of a menu over 1 year ago and we have since implemented new Al la Carte menu's. Also I would like to invite you back to Venice to experience our wonderful menu and a memorable evening

      Thank you for your comments. It's always great to see someone being so passionate about their restaurants and always improving themselves. The photos were taken sometime last year. As I have mentioned, I love the decor of your restaurant and i can't wait to try the new al la carte menu.
