Madtongsan, Elizabeth Arcade, 28 Elizabeth Street, BRISBANE QLD 4000
Madtongsan is a popular Korean eatery located in the Elizabeth Arcade, popular among students and office workers at lunch time, it is "the" place to visit in the CBD when the other travel bunnie and I get cravings for some good bibimbap.
I usually order the same thing over and over again, their beef stew with potatoes and carrots (number 12 on the menu, to be exact). During a recent visit on a busy Friday night, we were given a table at the upstairs of the restaurant. As my surroundings were extremely crowded and loud, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and ordered their potato noodles with beef, which turned out to be surprisingly…tasty and very filling.
As I have mentioned before, this place can get busy and as a result of such, services can from time to time, struggle to meet demand. Otherwise, it's thumbs up for Madtongsan!
