Hello Harry | Portside Wharf, 39 Hercules Street, HAMILTON QLD 4007
Hello Harry! Welcome to Hamilton Portside.
Although our neighbourhood has no shortage of good burgers on offer, I couldn’t say to no to trying out this newly opened burger joint, due in some part to its steady popularity on the Sunshine Coast since 2014. You’re not gonna miss Hello Harry, as the space is decked out in bright colours and neon lights, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. There are eight burger options on the menu plus a junior cheese burger made with grass fed beef, american cheese, tomato jam on a toasted brioche bun ($7) for the little ones. Before you order though, make sure that you look around you for the hidden menu, as you might find something different to your average burger, something like the luxe burger ($17), which has truffle mayo. We tried the Texan brisket burger with sticky BBQ marinade, green apple slaw ($10) and the crispy pork belly burger with wombok, fresh mint, roasted peanuts, sticky soy ($14). Both burgers were made on toasted brioche buns, and tasted pretty good. I especially loved the fact that I got a thick piece of pork belly with crackling in my burger. The sweet potato fries ($7) made a good side. By the way, if you are a fan of milkshakes, you’ve got to try the salted caramel shake ($7).
So if you are looking for a traditional burger with some awesome and innovative flavour combinations then get on down and say Hello to Harry!
Total Bunnie Dollars Spent: $45
