Four Seasons Claypot Restaurant, HONG KONG, CHINA

Some people may have a travel itinerary when they go overseas, but for the travel bunnies, we also have a food itinerary. It is basically a list of all of the local must-try foods. Oh yeah, we do not  muck around when it comes to food, especially when it comes to food en route.

Our food itinerary for HongKong was based on an episode of Anthony Bourdain's 'No Reservations' and Four Seasons Claypot Restaurant made the list.

If you are looking for somewhere classy to wine and dine, by all means avoid this place, but you will miss out on some seriously good food offered by this restaurant located between Temple Street and Nathan Road.

Famous for their claypot rice (well, the name of the restaurant says it all, really) at an oh-so-affordable price, we strongly recommend that you try their chinese sausage & chicken claypot rice. But, what really surprised us, was how tasty their oyster pancakes served with chilli sauce were.

We spent less than $70HKD for everything and it was one of the best meals during our trip.
