Langham Place Hong Kong
Choosing a hotel to stay at when in HongKong wasn't exactly easy.
Well, first, you gotta decide which side to stay - Kowloon or the HongKong side? Pouring over maps, reading other people's suggestions on Tripadvisor and not to mention, googling the best area for local food, we spent a fair amount of time on deciding the best place to stay during our first visit to this buzzing city.
However, as we were standing in front of the hotel that we FINALLY picked, we were more than happy with the decision. Our 4-night stay at the Langham Place in Mongkok, was an amazing experience.
The hotel is situated at a great location just off Nathan Road (well, what can you possibly complain about when the hotel is literally connected to a giant shopping mall?) with the MTR station right outside and only a few steps away from the markets.
The hotel service was exceptional. The hotel staff were so polite and helpful, they always smile and greet to you.
We stayed in a Residence Suite on level 37, which offers you the access to the hotel's Club L. Now, to those of you who is considering booking a room at this hotel, it is imperative that you book a suite! Club L not only offers late check out at 2pm, free wireless internet, it also provides snacks, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapés as well as refreshments served at various times during the day. Need I say more?
Both of us really enjoyed our stay at the Langham Place. It provided us with a sense of serenity in this buzzing city.
PS: remember to open the freezer, because you never know what you'll find…
oh, and remember to check out their roof top pool.
**Beginning of a bunny's gibberish ranting** The only downside about our stay was, well, we both found our king size bed too big for cuddling bunnies like us when sleeping at night. So be careful, because you can easily lose each other if you don't hold on tight **End of a bunny's gibberish ranting**
