Cruise with Carnival Liberty: Eastern Caribbean - Part 5. San Juan, Puerto Rico
San
Juan in Puerto Rico has to be my favourite stop during our Caribbean
cruise. The colourful houses in Old San Juan in particular, captured
my heart. Instead of taking a tour around the Bacardi Rum Factory,
the other travel bunnie and I visited the Castillo de San Cristóbal,
a Spanish fort built in 1783. We listened to its history and the
history of San Juan before wandering around the old cobbled streets,
while soaking up the sun, as much as we could.
That
day was finished with me eating a soft-served cone in bed, talking to
the other travel bunnie non-stop about the wonderful and exotic
visit…
