When
you boss offers to take you to lunch, you say yes.
Recently,
as most of the staff in our team were away for a four-day long
weekend, my boss took the rest of the team out for a nice lunch at
Cicada.
We
contemplated a number of possible options, but it came down to Cicada
for its proximity and quality of food.
A
table was booked for one and upon our arrival, there were business
attired people scattered at every corner of the restaurant. Service
was quick and efficient, just want you need for an quick business
lunch out of the office.
I
ordered the Tasmanian salmon, crispy skin, new potatoes,
steamed broccolini w' dill sauce ($25), which turned out to be a
great dish. The skin was indeed crispy and yet the flesh was cooked
perfectly - flaky and soft.
To
top it off, the service was quick and efficient, just want you need
for an express Friday lunch out of the office.
